KUIH TALAM GULA MERAH



Ingredient  

150 ml          Water
60 g              Caster Sugar
200 g            Palm Sugar
200 ml          Coconut Milk – thick
300 ml          Water
130 g             Rice Flour
10 g              Cornflour
5 ml              Limestone Water

Topping :
50 g              Rice Flour
250 ml          Coconut Milk – thin
150 ml          Water
¼ tsp             Salt


METHOD :

  1.   Bring to boil the water, sugar and palm sugar together.
  2. Poured in the coconut milk in bowl filled with rice flour, cornflour and limestone water and stir well.
  3. Poured in cold sugar syrup and mixed well before steaming for 20  minutes.
  4. For the topping : stirred in coconut milk into a bowl with rice flour and salt. Poured the mixtures onto the kuih and bring to steaming for another 20 minutes.
  5.  Leave to cool before cutting and served.
